NEW YORK (November 14, 2017) — The Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA) has awarded grant funding to Elderly Care Matters, a non-profit organization in Sierra Vista, Ariz. The $5,000 grant will help people in the community as it will allow the organization to expand its services and serve more people.
"Thanks to the AFA grant, Elderly Care Matters and it’s partnering agencies will be able to provide companionship, activities, and supportive care directly to the people living with dementia related illnesses in the Sierra Vista Area. The goal of these services is to be engaged with those suffering from dementia-related illnesses, to stimulate their cognitive function, and improve their quality of lives” Eileen Coulston, ANP-C, Founder of Elderly Care Matters.
